With the MS Edge update (105.0.1343.33) provided today, the problem has now been fixed on the Edge browser as well.

With the latest version of Google Chrome (105.0.5195.102) the problem has been fixed and all videos are playing again. There is no corresponding browser update for MS Edge yet, but we assume that this will also be provided shortly.

With the release today of version 105 of the Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers, there is unfortunately a problem with playing videos in VIMP when you have the Video.js player enabled (default).
As a temporary solution, please enable VIMP Player under Configuration -> Player -> Player Settings to enable playing videos in Chrome and Edge browsers again. The problem does not exist with the VIMP player.
We are working on a solution and will inform you as soon as possible when it is ready.
