VIMP offers the option of adding additional users for editing a medium. This so-called proxy arrangement can be used, for example, when the medium owner is absent or, more generally, when a medium needs to be edited by multiple users on a permanent basis.
Activate the function in the configuration under Media -> Media Settings: Enable additional owners for media.
Media owners and administrators now have a new entry in the Media actions: Additional owners
Clicking on this opens the administration page where new owners can be added or removed. By default, owners cannot be added again after they have been removed for the first time. If you want to make this possible, you can enable this function in the configuration under Media -> Media settings: Allow the owner to reactivate deleted additional owners
Each additional owner can be assigned one of the following roles:
