Editions: Community, Professional, Enterprise, Enterprise Ultimate, Corporate
Versions: 3.2.0+
After updating from a previous VIMP version to VIMP 3.6.x you need to set up the additional formats yourself, since these are not predefined during an update (in order not to overwrite existing format definitions).
To create your own additional formats, switch to Media -> Formats in the backend. Here you can create or edit the desired additional formats.
When you newly install VIMP, the following two additional formats are created by default:
720p - 1280x720, Desktop Bitrate: 3000, Mobile Bitrate: 1500, Audio Desktop Bitrate: 256, Audio Mobile Bitrate: 128
480p - 544x480, Desktop Bitrate: 1000, Mobile Bitrate: 800, Audio Desktop Bitrate: 128, Audio Mobile Bitrate: 96
Please note: If you use the VIMP transcoding service, please contact us via Premium Ticket Support or via info@vimp.com, mentioning your transcoding service account name, to set up the additional formats.
