Multi Server Monitoring

VIMP has offered integrated server monitoring since version 6.1. The new multi-server architecture offers particular advantages for cluster operation, as the servers involved now “know” each other.

A new “framework:server” task is automatically started for the multi-server architecture, which checks whether new events have been created and executes them accordingly.

The following permissions authorize access to the server functions:

• access backend servers: Grants access rights to the server administration in the Admin Panel.
• access backend server monitoring": Grants access rights to the server monitoring in the Admin Panel Dashboard.

The multi-server architecture is also the basis for the VIMP-internal live streaming introduced with VIMP 6.1.
